Week 6.2
Today was final hand-in and presentations. The class showed each other their websites and videos and gave a small critique. We were happy with our responses and overall outcome of the website and motion video. RATIONAL: Our topic for our website and video was E-waste and recognises how by simply recycling our old electronics you can save the environment, third world countries and landfills. We opted to use a gif on our opening page in order to create emphasis and to explain our topic on the outset. We then have a modal that when opened displays our video. We thought it was important to have this on the opening page to immediately describe our concept from the outset, we then used a different modal in the top left corner, with a hamburger menu, opting for courier new and courier as our font and backup font.
